Halloween is over.
The spiders are gone, the demons have disappeared and I’ve finally washed all that blood off. So naturally, the next logical step was black lace, stockings and very high heels. I never said things were going to become innocent around here. 😇
And this picture actually comes with a few little firsts. I’m very happy to welcome Vanity Poses and LÀP Designs as two new sponsors to my little blogging world – and apparently I decided that the best way to introduce them was wearing considerably less clothing than usual.

I knew pretty quickly that I wanted to do something sensual with it. There is something about the way the body curves, the arms above the head and that slightly exposed posture that doesn’t really need much of a story around it.
Sometimes the body is the story.
And considering what I’m wearing, I thought it would be rather rude to distract from it anyway. 😏 But there is another reason why I wanted to show you this particular pose for my first Vanity Poses post.
Between the Lines was originally created for Out Shop Cancer, and while the event itself has already ended, the pose is still available at the Vanity Poses Mainstore. Even better: 100% of the proceeds are still being donated. ❤️
I really like that. The event may be over, but the reason behind the release isn’t. So if you missed it during Out Shop Cancer, you can still get it, use it and support something worthwhile at the same time.

A LITTLE LACE…
Once I had the pose, the rest of the picture developed rather naturally.
The lingerie I’m wearing is by AURA Design – black, lacey, revealing in all the right places and therefore requiring absolutely no convincing whatsoever from me.

A FEW DIAMONDS…
Sometimes an outfit simply understands the assignment. 😏 And then I started adding jewellery – which is where my second new sponsor, LÀP Designs, entered the picture.
I’m wearing their Glam Diva Energy Jewelry Set – necklace, earrings and bracelets – and apparently I wasn’t quite finished decorating myself yet. Because why stop at jewellery when your legs can sparkle too?
The Diamond Stockings & Shoes Megapack by LÀP Designs gave me exactly that. Sheer stockings, tiny diamond details and those beautifully high heels that make absolutely no sense for walking anywhere… which is precisely why we love them. 😂

And because apparently diamonds weren’t quite enough, I cheated just a tiny bit. 😇
I also used the Gemlight Effect by Plastic – and oh, this little thing is fun. ✨ The effect is completely adjustable through its HUD, so you can decide how subtle – or gloriously excessive – you want your sparkle to be.
For these pictures I kept it relatively subtle, just enough to catch the diamond details on the jewellery and stockings whenever the light hits them. Or, presumably, you could turn yourself into a small human disco ball.
I haven’t tested the limits yet. Give me time. 😏
Although looking at those legs… I think they were perfectly capable of stealing the show all by themselves.
SOMETIMES LESS REALLY IS MORE…
And that’s pretty much what I like about this one.
No cemetery. No monster following me. And no complicated little story hiding somewhere in the background. Just black lace, ridiculously high heels, some jewellery, a little extra sparkle – and me having fun with light, body language and a slightly more sensual mood again. Sometimes that’s enough. 😏

Judging by this first one, apparently not towards more clothing. I’m strangely okay with that. 😇
