New year – new blog! This is my first Blog Post on this site, and I am happy it turned out to be such a wonderful theme – Natthimmel.

Natthimmel (Night Sky in Swedish) is a region in Second Life, built by Konrad & Saskia. These two, awesomely creative residents use their region for impressive builds, suspicious and inspiring worlds that change from time to time. Usually you should be fast to explore their new builds, they never last for too long.

NATHIMMEL – The Array

This region opened on 22 Feb 2026. Here’s to find their inworld announcement. You should join their group if you want to stay updated and always read their notes when entering their world:

Then the vision came.

Not a dream—visions in The Array were never dreams. They were memories, borrowed from the Primordium itself.

Lira saw a vast ocean, black and endless. She saw the Primordium as it once was: a drifting seed, searching for a place to anchor. She felt its loneliness, its hunger, its ancient purpose. And then she saw something else—something rising from the deep, something that made the Choir’s harmonics tremble with fear.
The vision snapped away.

The Choir scattered, their lights dimming as they drifted back into the fog. The Veins beneath Lira’s hands throbbed once, sharply, like a heartbeat skipping.
Abyssara was preparing for something.

Lira stood alone on the terrace, the Mist swirling around her, the echoes of the Choir fading into silence. She didn’t know what the Primordium had shown her—or why it had chosen her—but she knew one thing with absolute certainty.

The city was waking up.

Landmark to Natthimmel – the Array.

(my) Impressions

This world feels like a borderland:
no longer our reality, but not purely a fairy tale either.
Technology, magic and nature do not seem to be separate, but interwoven. Light is a life form in its own right here. Architecture grows. Plants glow. And the moon seems not only like a celestial body, but like a force.

This is not a world for ordinary visitors.
This is a place for seekers. For beings who understand that energy, memory and matter are one.

This world reminds me of a mixture of several worlds – but not a copy, more like its own interpretation.
Dark Souls & Elden Ring – a melancholic loneliness like in a dark fantasy setting.
Avatar & Stranger Things – a strange force, structures with glowing elements, its own ecosystem.
Dune & The Legend of Zelda – a huge moon that not only provides light but also represents a consciousness, a mixture of mysticism and monumentality.

However, my strongest impression is this:
It reminds me less of a game or a film – more of conceptual art for a world that has not yet been told. Like a prequel to something bigger. A civilisation that did not consume energy, but cultivated it… and perhaps broke apart because of it.

A special evening

On Feb. 28 Konrad & Saskia invited to a special evening.

Konrad asked the live DJs Jan Bade and Bee (Filipa Emor) for a live mixing set. But wait – Jan is usually known as venue owner than as a DJ. His venue is called “Nordwald Bunker” and is an urban build with several (club) locations inside. Usually Jan hosts DJ Sets there and is not upfront the turntables. So this was a very special event, also for him as it was his first public set in Second Life! \o/ Well done Jan, hope to hear more from you! ♥

Of course I made a few snaps 😉

Thanks a lot to Konrad and Saskia providing regularly such impressive builds. I know that this takes a lot of time, money and effort to create. Besides the idea that wants to be found and implemented.

So when you visit, leave a L$ or two, join their group and events. And have fun exploring!

Thanks for your reading and your support, I am so happy you are here! ♥
